I am so good at meeting my deadlines

I feel kinda bad about posting this before I post my book review (in my blog about books) but it can't wait or I'll forget. First of all, I had a dream quite a while ago that I was on a field trip with my class. After a reasonable amount of explosives, death robots, and buses careening into rivers, we made it to the camp. I took a few classes, then I started reading a book called Period (I think it refers to periods of time).
In the book my family and I were hiding out underground because something bad and radiational had happened on the surface. I don't remember what happened next. I think it had something to do with being outlaws and escaping on roller-coasters and finally being banished to a never-ending trash dump but then stowing away on one of the worker's hovercrafts and nearly escaping through an exotic jungle but then having to jump off of a cliff but luckily there was a floating island with a house on it but unluckily we missed the island and fell down on some sand and then we crawled into the shade with large vultures (that were called terratorns in the book) circling above us and then I woke up and then quite a while later I decided to finally put the dream into a blog and I made a gigantic run-on sentence that would probably get me in big trouble with Mr. Waldman (my LA teacher).
I also had another interesting dream where I knew it was a dream but I thought it was the night before the last day of school. In fact, the only thing that told me it was a dream were the zombies out roaming for human flesh. I didn't actually realize it was already break until about one minute after I woke up. ("OK, I need my towel, a clean shirt, a change of clothes- wait, that was a long time ago") it was funny.
My latest dream was where I was a ninja kitty and a bunch of aliens came and fought me, but I woke up before I found out who won.
And those were my most interesting dreams. I hope to do my book post soon. Bye!

Log of the Starship: 1800 Hours, The Structure, Critical Stage.

I had a dream. A dream about Disneyworld, adventure, Minecraft, bugs, and japanese rice cakes. And, also, a girl named Skateboard. Now, as it is my sworn duty to blog any cool dreams I've had, I will tell you about it.
Yes, I can see you.
Let's begin....
It was a day that was not particularly dark or stormy, and my family and I Were walking through one of disney's parks. We went on rides, watched plays, and basically did what people do at Disneyworld. We then went to Epcot, where I first got a hint that something was weird. Because, on the ground, there was a Minecraft silverfish. But not a silverfish as in blocky, silver, and pixelated. An actual real silverfish, still a bit blocky, brown and mottled to camouflage with the bark.
I'm sure you know about alive-ness. In a picture of an entire buffalo herd, you can always find the one buffalo made by CGI, no matter how real it looks. The silverfish had that real-ness, so I quickly asked dad to let me take a video of it with his I-phone. As I started recording... I woke up. The end.
Yes. you heard me.
I woke up. That's it.
Except for that next dream....
Two days later (today) I had another dream.
It was one of those long dreams that you can't remember the beggining of. I remember little snippets - falling to the ground off of a high tower, an evil guy (judging by his baldness and maniacal laugh), a monkey, a jeep, falling buildings, other escaped animals, a flood, a helicopter. Somehow needing to escape. Going to the mountains. Coldness. Snow.
Then I woke up at the crack of dawn and walked to The Structure. It isn't actually called the structure, I forgot the word after "the" (I think it begins with a C). The Structure was a T-shaped building with all sorts of stuff in it. A girl walked up to me.
I immediately knew three things: The girl's name was Skateboard, her father was a policeman, and she designed rollercoasters and complex technology. She was almost as short as me and kind of sort of (maybe) possibly hot. (I just remembered! I think The Structure was called The Compound!)(deliberately attracting attention away from what he just said with exclamation marks)
Anyways, (changing subject) [SHUT UP, PARENTHESES!!!] (no.) [Fine. hmph] (did you just hmph me?!?!?!?!) [Yes.] (!!!!) (well then, hmph right back to you!) [Can we just get on with the story?] (fine.)
Cough... Anyways, two other kids walked up to me. I knew that they were my older and younger brothers. We talked about something, and said goodbye. Then Skateboard's dad pulled me to the side and told me the password to get inside the compound for some reason. He also gave me two little animals that looked like Japanese rice cakes in the form of Hershey's kisses, except they were alive (again with the alive-ness). I thanked him and went to play on the computer. I played this game that I think was Spore, except with more parts and buildings.
A while into my gaming, Skateboard pulled me aside. "I need to show you something" She dragged me towards the right part of the T, entered a code, and opened a door. Inside were about a thousand or more of the rice cake creatures. She explained to me that each had feelings and a brain. They had chosen mine because it volunteered. I came close to the rice ball creature and growled "I'm gonna eat you!" The creature jumped out of my hand and ran around the room. I caught it and reassured it that I wasn't gonna eat it, then gave my attention back to Skateboard and started asking questions. "What are they? When did you find them? Where did they come from? Who are you exactly? What are they?"
"You said that already" pointed out Skateboard "And I'll answer all your questions later. First-"
"Come over here, Andres!" yelled one of my brothers. After tending to a rice cake that had split open (spilling it's beany contents), I went to my brothers. My little brother had turned into/possessed/was driving a beetle, while my older brother drove another beetle around with a remote control. After an intense chase scene, to be blunt, my younger brother had his insides sucked out by a bigger beetle. With heavy hearts and eyes full of tears, we went to bed.
That night I couldn't sleep. I got up and walked to The Structure/Compound/Fortress. When I got to the keypad, I forgot the combination. I was about to go back to bed, when Skateboard came and unlocked the door. I followed her inside and saw a bunch of grown-ups looking serious, with Skateboard in the middle of them, looking at the computer. "What's happening?" I asked. Everybody turned to look at me as I rattled on the questions I had asked Skateboard and a few more. "Andres..." said Skateboard as I look at the computer. She had just posted a blog on my account. I started toward the computer. I could see the title: Log of the Starship: 1800 Hours, The Structure, Critical Stage. I knew that if I read it, I would understand everything, so I started to read.
"I had a dream. A dream about Disneyworld, adventure, Minecraft, bugs, and japanese rice cakes. And, also, a girl named Skateboard. Now, as it is my sworn duty to-"
I woke up. "no!" I exclaimed. I immediately came down and started blogging. Then I woke up for real.

I truly didn't realize I was writing the same thing as my dream at the beginning. I did, however, change the title to what it is now. I don't know what this means or why I got this dream, but I do know it's cool and one of the most blogworthy things I've ever encountered. I hope I get a follow-up dream for an explanation someday. I've also had the strange feeling that Skateboard, Lollipop, and Sam have been watching me as I write. I also want Skateboard to know that she is now a part of our team. Congratulations! Well, I guess that's the end. Bye!

Way too much stuff

Way too much stuff has happened since I last blogged so I need to get it all down before Lucia's birthday. My mom thinks I should not write a lot of stuff in one post because it "scares off" and "overwhelms" readers so I'll separate subjects with pictures to make it easier to read. Consider each picture as the start of a new blog post.
igloo.jpg
First of all, on Thursday we went on a field trip to build igloos. My team (Nicky, Josh, and I) was one of the three only teams who got the hang of igloo building. We were done with the first level of our igloo when Mr. Waldman said that since not many people were successful at igloo building, we would do something else.
Then we went to Baseline Lake, which had frozen over, and ice skated. I made it all the way to the rock in the middle, even though the wind was very strong, and I said "I made it to the island of safetyness!". About five seconds later I stated "This is boring" and ran back onto the windy ice. I also kept trying to catch the wind so that it slid me across the ice, but it wasn't working. I got so fed up that I turned at the mountains where the wind was coming from and yelled "Really, wind? Rea-" but I got cut off by a sudden extremely large gust of wind that bushed my back about a hundred feet. "That's what I'm talking about!!!" I said as I got swept all the way back to the other shore.
Then we went back to school. We tried to convince the driver, Jacob's mom, to let us have something good to eat, but she didn't let us. :( THE END
di_logo_vertical.jpg
I suppose I should talk about this, but there's not much to tell. We started DI again and began working with power tools, sharp objects, and hot metal. It was fun. :)
11-11-11-300x200.jpg
Nicky threw a big 11/11/11 party on friday. When I first got there, we started playing video games. Then we went downstairs and ate pizza and watched weird movies like Baaaaa. Then... we went outside for an epic Nerf war. On the first round, Nicky, Joey, and I were against Travis and Zach. Nicky was an assassin, Joey and I had pistols, Zack was the heavy (he had a large semi-automatic gun with too many bullets), and Travis had a rifle. We won that round due too perfect assassination by Nicky. (he killed both of them with only a little help from me)
The second round was Zach, Joey, and I against Nicky and travis. In this round, I was the sniper (with an extended rifle) and Travis changed to be an assassin like Nicky, although they turned out to be more like snarling predators. This time, I did the most damage (before being unfortunately killed by Travis's Laser Frisbee Throwing Ninja Star of Doom). My team one again.
The third round Nicky dropped out and it was Zack and I vs. Travis and Joey. That was a quick game where Zack and I were killed because Nicky distracted s from our base. That was when we went inside to build rockets.
We had lots of trouble building rockets, mostly because Nicky's dad forgot to tell us that he had a glue gun so we were trying every other type of glue in the house. When we finally built the rockets, Zach was the first to launch. When we pressed the button, a 20 foot column of flame shot up and the rocket dissapeared into the sky. We found it later, far away from where we launched it, missing one of the stabilizing wing-ish things. None of the other rockets came back. I didn't even launch mine.
We ended the party wit a large 11 cake that tasted delicious and I headed home, thinking how much I needed to blog before another interesting thing happened. I didn't blog, however, so we'll keep going with the story.

At the Denver museum of Nature and Science, I heard a talk about creating an artificial pancreas. Nothing that blogworthy. On the way back from the museum we ate at Carl's Jr.®

BlehBlehBleh

FAIL. At this point I accidentally published instead of looking at the preview. Before anyone can see I must continue...

After the museum we went too boondocks®. I played some Terminater and won some tickets and a dinosaur. Nothing new.

Mario_Kart_Wii_Logo_(Official).jpg
When we got home we had fun messing up the settings of MarioKart and owning/being owned. It was fun :)
That's about it. Bye. I hope nobody read it before I upedated this...

I need to learn how to spell. Must update before anybody sees my mistake...

Halloween

I couldn't do this on Halloween so I'll do this today. This Halloween was on of the coolest Halloweens ever. First of all, at 11:48 the power went out at my school. At first my group thought it was just us, but the entire school lost power. The power came back on at 12:57 during math. If you're wondering how I got the time, I looked at the clock an hour after the power outage ind it was (obviously) still at 11:48, and when the power came back on, I looked at my watch.
Another thing was that Alex convinced me to go to his house. He had a catalouge of the newest LEGO™s (TM is alt+2 just so you know) and I found a LEGO™ mushroom.

At this point in my writing, my internet got screwed and so the rest of the blog got deleted. I also changed the ™ to ® (alt+r), but that also got wiped out. I got angry and quit for awhile, but here I am again! Back to the main production!

I just figured out how to write my name. I'm so proud of myself! (That makes me sound like an idiot, doesn't it?) I found the alt+e thing so now I reintroduce myself as: Andrés!!! Back to the subject at hand (really this time)...

I had to give my mom a super big almond chocolate bar as my punishment.
The most weird thing that happened that day, however, was when we were trick-or-treating. There were practically no people other than us!  My first theory was that zombies ate everybody, but then I thought of a better solution. Every Halloween, all of the different universes come together and swap around for no apparent reason. This Halloween, we had been at Alex's house during the dimension-swap, and so we stayed in the regular dimension. Or maybe we stayed this time and we usually move. I don't know.
And that was my first Halloween that I actually found overly scary.

Now I need to publish this because it's sayingagain. Bye!

Phlarg

Hello. My mom just told me that I had a choice between blogging and going to bed and I chose blogging so here I am. I really don't know what to write.
...
...
Oh, yes, I need to record this emoji giant killer death robot before I forget:
(V) (;,,;)   (V)
   `(         ) /
     (        )/
      (      )
       []  []
      []    []
    _/    _/
Or maybe it's chathulu (cthulhu; weirdest spelling ever)? I don't know. I did the lower bit (everything other than the first line) by myself. Like it? I didn't know what to do with the right arm so I just made it puny. Comment if there is anything better for the arm or the feet (maybe # signs for the feet?). Did you know that You can make Phineas and Ferb's heads? You can. I need to go now. Bye.

lotsa stuff

A lot of stuff has happened since I last posted, including CHOICE's spring trip. Erm... What do I remember? Well, it was basically like other years except this year Sky had a laser and I chased it and almost caught it. Also, Aton, Vanyel and I played the best game of yahtzee ever in witch every tome we rolled the dice we did a little skit. There was all kinds of stuff such as dice launchers, dice beer, dice battle axes, and dice bug spray. it was fun. :)
Just so you know, I am now an orange belt at Taekwondo.
The other day I was stuck outside my house and I went to Home Tree, wondering if I could climb it. Some guy walked up to me and said "What's up there?".
"Huh?" I asked.
"Up in the tree"
"Oh. Nothing, just wondering if I can climb it."
"Come over here"
"What?
"Let me show you something." The man started walking up to me and pulled out his wallet and I was thinking about something that has to do with bribing, cars, and kidnapping. Then he pulled out... a picture. It was a boy with two broken arms, whom I immediately thought was his son. "Two broken arms," he said, "Fell out of that branch" and he pointed to a branch on the tree. "Was about... I don't know... a long time ago" at this point I realized that it wasn't his son, but him. "So," he concluded, "If you climb up there, don't fall down" I said something like "I'll try" and he said something like "okay" and he walked off towards the bus stop. And I haven't seen him since, which isn't surprising since it happened four or five days ago. And that's my story.
I also found a new game called Mooncraft. It seems pretty cool so far, you should check it out.
